Description.
Flat-profile jade pendant. Depicts a bird in a reclining position, with its wings tucked in and its head turned. The surface is decorated with incised lines that define the shape. The jade is greenish, with areas of dark patina. Hongshan culture (c. 4700–2900 BC).
