Description.
Carved and polished jade, whitish, with extensive veins and inclusions in brown and reddish tones. It represents a turtle shell in a naturalistic style. The convex surface is finely incised with hexagonal patterns that decorate the shell. The piece is perforated in the centre so that it can be suspended as an amulet.
