Description.
Carved jade pendant with an openwork circular design. The scene features two female figures standing face to face, dressed in flowing tunics suggested by incised lines. The figures are framed by a dense pattern of scrolls and clouds. The jade, milky and translucent, shows areas of amber-coloured patina. Han dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD). or later.
