Description.
Crafted from white jade with a rich patina of ochre and brown tones. The sculpture takes the form of a ‘Wengzhong’, an anthropomorphic amulet with stylised features, usually depicted as one of the ‘three treasures’. It has a hole at the top. Han Dynasty (206 BC–220 AD) or later.
