Description.
Ritual jade disc (bi 璧) with a square profile and central perforation. Both faces are carved with guwen (古紋) motifs composed of regular incised spirals, typical of the decorative vocabulary associated with the Liangzhu culture. At the corners, stylized heads in high relief appear, with incised geometric decoration reminiscent of taotie masks. The surface shows signs of age-related patina. Liangzhu culture (ca. 3300–2200 BCE) or later.
