Description.
A square seal carved from pale celadon-coloured jade. It features two intertwined, archaic-style Chilong beasts in high relief, with sinuous bodies and forked tails, set upon a smooth plinth. The base bears an inscription in sigillate characters with traces of cinnabar. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
