Description.
Carved jade seal in ochre, brown, and beige tones, with a dark patina and traces of reddish pigment at the base. The handle depicts a fantastical feline-inspired creature, crouching with its mouth half-open, suggesting a watchful or protective attitude. The decorative perforations on its body and the linear details of its mane and paws are striking. The rectangular base features an inscription in seal calligraphy "达意". Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) or later.
