Description.
A seal carved in brown jade with ochre and greyish veins in a rectangular shape, surmounted by the figure of a feline in a seated position. The animal has its forelegs tucked in, its head erect and turned to one side, with details of rounded ears, a prominent jaw and defined eyes. The tail curls elegantly to the side. The base of the seal bears a calligraphic inscription "且陶陶乐取天真" engraved in bas-relief. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) or later.
