Description.
A seal made of brown jade with natural veins, rectangular in shape. The upper part is surmounted by a finely carved figure of a lion in a vigilant pose, with a robust body, raised head and paws tucked under its belly. The base of the seal bears a calligraphic inscription "明月一天秋水" in low relief. It has a patina commensurate with its age. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) or later.
