Jade seal "Mythical Beast", Ming Dynasty

Rectangular prismatic seal, crowned by the figure of a reclining mythical beast, carved with flowing mane and a watchful expression. The piece features brown marbling on a beige background, highlighting the carving's volume and details. The rectangular base bears the inscription "静观自得" in bas-relief and shows traces of red sealing wax. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) or later.
