Description.
A piece carved from brown and ochre-coloured jade, with natural veins running across its entire surface. The upper part features the figure of a tortoise, a symbol of longevity and steadfastness. The base bears the engraved seal ‘爰嘏福履’. Ming dynasty (1368–1644) or later.
