Description.
A seal carved in light-beige jade with golden overtones. The hilt is carved in the form of a turtle with smooth, symmetrical contours, its shell decorated with geometric incisions in the form of concentric hexagons. The figure has a hole drilled through it, probably for suspension. The base of the seal bears the calligraphic characters ‘物外日月本不忘’. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
