Description.
Circular bracelet, carved from white-celadon jade. The outer surface is superbly decorated in relief with a pattern of stylised “archaic dragons”, whose sinuous bodies are intertwined with scrolls. It displays areas of ochre and white patina, creating a chromatic contrast with the polished original tone of the jade. Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - 25 AD).
Internal diameter: 5.4 cm; External diameter: 7.3 cm, Thickness: 2 cm.
