Description.
A finely crafted bi-disk in honey-brown jadeite with greenish hues. The centre of the disc is a classic, smooth disc with a circular perforation and a delicate engraving of spirals on the surface, evoking propitiatory clouds. The outline is carved in openwork high relief, depicting multiple dragons with serpentine bodies and undulating movements. Their heads are elaborately carved, showing curved horns, open snouts and majestic expressions. The carving is exquisite, with great attention to the scales and flaming manes, lending great dynamism to the composition. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
