Description.
A rectangular-shaped jadeite plaque with gently undulating edges, carved in bas-relief with calligraphic motifs and bamboo branches. The stone has a pale green tone with delicate emerald veins that accentuate the relief and harmony of the whole. On both sides are calligraphic inscriptions, flanked by bamboo stems and leaves. The plaque has a small hole at the top, suggesting its use as a pendant or personal adornment. The carefully arranged bamboo leaves frame and balance the inscriptions. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
