Description.
A circular-shaped ornamental plaque carved in pale green jadeite with slight emerald hues, featuring an openwork composition depicting a smiling child holding a large lotus flower. The child, with a joyful expression and dynamic posture, symbolises innocence and future prosperity. The lotus flower is a powerful emblem of purity and spiritual elevation. The circular frame, with its smooth, slender profile, encloses the scene. The carving is delicate, with precise details in the folds of the garment and the petals of the flower.
