Description.
Oval plaque carved from green jadeite with areas of natural brown veining. The piece features delicate reliefs: on one side, a stylized dragon with sinuous shapes, and on the reverse, an elegant phoenix with folded wings and a long, curved tail. The perimeter border is decorated with auspicious cloud motifs and features a hole at the top for hanging. This plaque symbolizes the harmony between yin and yang, representing the union between the dragon (male) and the phoenix (female). Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
