Description.
Green and white jadeite with a polished finish, carved to make the most of the stone’s natural shape. It depicts a mountainous landscape featuring pavilions with curved roofs, pine trees and figures of sages in various poses, including two figures sailing in a small boat. It is notable for the way it makes use of the stone’s green inclusions. Qing Dynasty (1644–1911). or later.
