Description.
Rectangular jadeite seal with the upper part richly carved in high relief, depicting a qilong, or dragon, with a sinuous and robust body adorned with incised details, holding a lingzhi branch in its mouth from which a thin leaf also hangs. The stone has a patina or natural shell, with ochre, green, and brown hues. The base bears an inscription engraved with the characters "棣华书屋" with traces of red sealing wax. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
