Description.
Bronze sculpture on a marble base. It exemplifies the artist’s characteristic classical and monumental style. There is a strong emphasis on the harmony of anatomical proportions and expressive fluidity. The composition plays with continuous curves and refined academic lines, capturing an aesthetic balance of mythological inspiration reminiscent of classical representations of Venus or marine amphitrites. Signed “Avalos” on the back of the figure.
