Juan Ruiz de Luna (1863–1945) Amphora with bust of lions, early 20th century

Polychrome amphora decorated in the style of 17th-century Talavera. The body features floral motifs, acanthus leaves and female heads in relief. The handles are moulded in the shape of lion heads in a caramel-ochre tone. A brilliant piece with blue, green and yellow enamels.
