Description.
'Juanín Pérez' doll, dressed as a sailor, Spain, c. 1947–1952. Mariquita Pérez scale, with closing eyes and a body articulated by elastic bands, walker model. Dressed in a complete period sailor’s dress uniform (trousers with braces, striped collar shirt and beret with an embroidered anchor); excellent patina with very slight craquelure in the lacquer.
