Description.
Oil on canvas. The perspective is strongly confined by a large, shadowed wall on the right, forcing the viewer to focus on the figures. In the background, silhouetted against a dense, yellowish sky, rises the imposing silhouette of the dome and bell towers of a Baroque church. Signed, titled, and dated “Música barata” by Julián Ortego. “Juan de Austria No. 4” on the reverse.
