Oil on canvas. Pair of oil portraits in the bourgeois, 19th-century style. On the left is the rectangular portrait of a gentleman, turned slightly to his left, with a sober, steady gaze. The man sports a prominent dark mustache and short, curly hair, wearing a black frock coat with wide lapels, a white high-collared shirt, and a bow tie. His jacket highlights a large medal in the shape of a star-shaped cross with gold edges. On the right, in an oval format, is the portrait of a lady turned to her left with a serene and peaceful expression. The woman's gray hair is styled in an elaborate bun decorated with small pearls, and she wears a double-breasted black dress, finished at the neck with delicate white lace and a central gold brooch. Signed "Cebrián Y Mezquita" in the lower right corner.
