Description.

German porcelain dinnerware by Krautheim & Adelberg. Minimalist design with gilt rims. Dinnerware set including coffee, tea, and serving pieces. Christoph Krautheim founded his own porcelain painting workshop in 1884, which his brother-in-law Richard Adelberg joined as a co-owner four years later. The porcelain painting workshop became one of the largest and most important in Germany and even supplied the Bavarian royal court. In 1912, Christoph Krautheim founded his own porcelain factory, Krautheim & Adelberg. After his death in 1933, his son Richard continued to run the company. Some of the pieces show minor signs of wear and tear typical of their age and use.
