Description.
Low table made of black lacquered wood, with a top decorated with hard stone inlays depicting a courtly scene in a garden setting. The composition includes six figures among trees, rocks, and a floral panel, with finely crafted details. The inscription in Chinese characters lends a literary context to the scene. The skirt features openwork, and the lower edge is moulded with curved legs.
