Description.
A lapis lazuli seal of intense ultramarine blue with grey veins and whitish inclusions. It features a rectangular base topped by a reclining auspicious beast, with its head turned to one side, its tail raised and a serene expression. The impression base retains traces of cinnabar and characters carved in seal script. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912). or later.
