Description.
Large carved Hetian jade stone, irregular and organic. The jade is covered with a reddish-orange rust-coloured patina across its entire surface, known as “skin jade”. The surface is polished but with subtle irregularities. The piece is presented on a dark carved wooden base with an openwork design of ruyi cloud scrolls.
