Description.
A large porcelain dish with a white glazed background and a faceted profile. It is decorated with coloured enamels, depicting in the centre, within a double blue circle, a beautiful landscape filled with leaves and coloured peonies, accompanied by a small bird perched on a long, winding branch. The rim of the plate has alternating blue and green backgrounds on which small lotuses, peonies, coloured ribbons and scrolled parchment stand out. The reverse is decorated with three pairs of peaches hanging from a thin leafy branch. On the base there is an eight-character seal "康熙壬子中和堂制". Qing Dynasty (1644-1912).
