Description.
Large-format carved agate. It has a cylindrical shape with rounded edges and is notable for its iconography—the sacred number of 15 eyes—one of the rarest and most powerful variants in Buddhism. These circular, cream-colored motifs are distributed across the dark surface, framed by sinuous lines. The largest central eye is surrounded by a geometric structure that serves as a visual focal point. Tang Dynasty (618–907) or later.
