Description.
Crafted from natural agate of exceptional quality, combining bluish-grey, brown and white hues, known as 蓝沁, which translates as ‘blue seepage’. The piece has a robust spindle-shaped form and is distinguished by geological banding that forms a ‘V’-shaped pattern at the centre. Tang Dynasty (618–907) or later.
