Description.
Large, egg-shaped bead carved from yellow agate. The stone is an intense honey or caramel colour, crossed by a natural white band that encircles the body. Smooth, highly polished surface with a central longitudinal perforation. Shows patina due to aging. Liao Dynasty (907-1125 AD).
