Description.

Globular ‘liulí’ or vitreous paste bead with a cobalt blue base. It is decorated with a dense and dynamic pattern of white ‘eyes’ and concentric spirals covering the entire surface. It shows patina and wear from use. Tang Dynasty (618-906).
