Description.
Made of cobalt blue liuli glass with a dense patina and earthy concretions. The piece has a globular body with two large side handles, masterfully modelled in the shape of mythological beasts with scales and embossed details. The rim is circular, while the base is decorated with a band of stylised waves. Han dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD) or later.
