Description.
Watercolour on paper. It depicts a group of bullfighters entering the bullring. In the top left-hand corner, the presence of the audience in the stands is suggested by a subtle mosaic of coloured patches. In the background, the characteristic reddish barrier can be seen, serving as an architectural boundary and enhancing the vibrancy of the foreground. Signed and titled ‘A las cinco de la tarde/Garcia Campos’ in the bottom left-hand corner.
