Oil on canvas. A traditional rural landscape depicting the traditional architecture of whitewashed huts with thatched roofs. Executed with loose, textured brushstrokes, the work stands out for its harmonious palette of off-whites, ochres and subtle dry greens. Signed ‘Saurat 75’ and dated in the lower right-hand corner of the work.
