Description.
Oil on canvas. A traditional rural landscape rendered with loose brushstrokes and a rich, textured quality, depicting a traditional whitewashed country house. The composition is characterised by a harmonious palette of earthy tones, ochres and pure whites, with light falling directly on the main façade. Signed ‘L. Saurat 75’ and dated in the lower right-hand corner.
