Mahogany pedestal or side table "Oriental style"

A mahogany pedestal or small table with all the details carved and fretworked. Around the top there is a gallery followed by another frieze between cornices. It stands on four legs in the form of a triple round column knotted in three sections, finished with square conical feet at two heights. In the centre of the columns of the legs there is a kind of 'X' shaped chamfer with a round column in the middle, which holds a crown in the form of a cup.  England, possibly late 19th century or later. Oriental style.
