Description.
Buddhist ritual necklace consisting of 108 spherical beads made from sacred Bodhi seeds. It features an engraved silver-plated metal master bead, or “guru’s head,” from which a cord hangs, as well as two sets of metal ritual counters on either side, topped by a dorje and a bell. Tibet, Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
Bead diameter: approx. 0.8 cm.
