Description.
A pale salmon-coloured silk piece featuring lavish polychrome machine embroidery depicting large peonies, lotus flowers and scenes of everyday life with pagodas and oriental figures. Edged all around with openwork latticework and long fringes of matching trimmings. It shows minor marks and slight tears due to wear.
