Description.
A tubular bead, perforated lengthwise and carved from semi-translucent reddish-orange jade, divided into three superimposed bands adorned with bas-reliefs depicting mythical Liangzhu masks, with oval-banded eyes, a stylised mouth and parallel incisions. Liangzhu culture (c. 3300–2300 BC) or later.
