Description.
Paper fan with an openwork mother-of-pearl frame, carved and inlaid with floral motifs and gilded details. The background, in dark tones, features a hand-painted scene in a traditional and romantic style, depicting numerous male and female figures in period dress within a palatial setting, accompanied by scattered bouquets of flowers along the sides.
Presented in a gilded wooden display case with an ornamental bow on the top and a red fabric background.
