Description.
A pendant amulet carved from natural, perforated agate. It is notable for its striking concentric banding in shades of orange, honey, white and reddish-brown. It has a rounded, organic shape with a smooth, tactile polish and a gentle vitreous sheen. Liao Dynasty (916–1125) or later.
