Necklace of eight carved agate beads, Warring States period

A necklace composed of eight spindle-shaped carved agate beads, known as yingtao hong lengjiao zhu 樱桃红棱角珠, in a cherry-red tone with translucent shades. The faceted beads are assembled by means of a braided cord in a red tone, accompanied by a simple metal clasp of Tibetan bronze. The whole is a functional assemblage that highlights the chromatic intensity and geometric shape of the beads. Period of the Warring Kingdoms (475-221 BC) or later.
