Description.
Crafted from red agate (Nanhong, 南红玛瑙) with a vibrant, translucent orange hue. The spherical beads, all of uniform size and with a central hole, are strung on a crimson cord finished with a traditional knot. It shows a patina resulting from ageing. Liao Dynasty (916–1125) or later.
