Description.
Necklace composed of one hundred and eight spherical beads of translucent yellow quartz, polished and strung on a golden cord. The composition is enriched with a larger central bead made of cobalt blue liuli glass, decorated with a golden wave motif, likely applied using an inclusion technique. On either side are flattened turquoise beads and metal spacers. The set also includes three carved red agate beads featuring auspicious motifs in relief (such as stylized clouds and flowers), evenly spaced following the traditional layout of Buddhist japa mala. Sliding knot closure.
Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
