Description.
This agate, carved in the shape of a Dzi bead with a spindle-shaped form and elongated body, features the coveted “nine-eye” design, defined by white circles and intertwined sinuous lines. This pattern is considered the most sacred in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, symbolizing absolute protection and the acquisition of spiritual merit. Liao Dynasty (916–1125) or later.
