Description.
Ge yao (割窑) glazed porcelain vase, which has a globular body with eight lobed facets that tapers at the shoulders into a thin neck ending in a thick flower-shaped mouth. The outer surface is decorated with a thick ivory-toned glaze on which a network of fine cracks or craquelures that develop naturally after the firing process stands out. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
