Official “Shirley Temple” composition doll, Ideal Novelty & Toy Co., Size 17, marked “Shirley Temple / 17”. With brown sleeping eyes, an open mouth with serrated teeth and a blonde mohair wig. Original articulated Composition doll structure with craquelure in the paintwork and slight damage to the nape of the neck, face and hands; with a polka-dot dress and bows from the period.
