Description.
A ceremonial plaque carved from jade in a soft, pale celadon green hue with subtle brown veins. The design features intricate openwork with characters along the central axis, flanked by sinuous dragons and archaic phoenixes with curved beaks and almond-shaped eyes – an auspicious symbol of unity and harmony; it retains a handwritten collector’s label. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
